ALPs Kaduna State commemorates Menstrual Hygiene Day

Today, we join the global community in raising awareness about menstrual hygiene and advocating for a world where every girl and woman can manage her menstruation with dignity, confidence, and access to the support she needs.

Menstruation is a natural part of life, not a source of shame, silence, or discrimination. Through education, access to menstrual hygiene products, and open conversations, we can help break harmful myths and create safer, healthier environments for girls and women across our communities.

As the Association of Lady Pharmacists (ALPs), Kaduna State Chapter, we remain committed to promoting menstrual health education, supporting adolescent girls and women, and encouraging policies and practices that ensure no one is left behind because of menstruation.

This year’s commemoration is a reminder that menstrual hygiene is not only a health issue; it is also a matter of dignity, equality, education, and empowerment.

Let us continue to speak up, educate, support one another, and build communities where every girl can thrive without barriers.

Happy Menstrual Hygiene Day from ALPs Kaduna State.
