The Association of Lady Pharmacists (ALPs), Bayelsa State Chapter, commemorated the International Day Against Drug Abuse and Illicit Trafficking 2026 with an awareness outreach at Community Secondary School, Opolo, Yenagoa, on June 26, 2026. The programme focused on educating students about the dangers of drug abuse, the importance of making healthy choices, and the role of young people in building a drug-free society. Through this initiative, ALPs Bayelsa State reaffirmed its commitment to promoting public health through education, advocacy, and community engagement.
