Benue Chapter, commemorated World Drug Abuse Day

On June 26th, 2026, the Association of Lady Pharmacists (ALPs), Benue Chapter, commemorated World Drug Abuse Day with an outreach at Trinity Model Academy, Old Otukpo Road, Makurdi, in collaboration with the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA).

The outreach focused on educating students on the dangers of drug abuse, its impact on health and wellbeing, and the importance of making positive choices. Educational handbills were distributed to reinforce the message, and students were provided with minor refreshments. The activity aimed to promote awareness and encourage drug abuse prevention among young people.
