ALPs Borno State Chapter Commemorates World Menstrual Hygiene Day 2026

The ALPs Borno State Chapter proudly marks World Menstrual Hygiene Day 2026, joining the global effort to promote awareness and advocate for better menstrual health for women and girls.

Menstruation should never be a barrier to education, personal growth, or participation in everyday life. Yet many girls continue to face challenges because of inadequate information, poor access to menstrual products, and persistent social stigma. Through education and advocacy, these barriers can be overcome.

As we observe this important day, the ALPs Borno State Chapter calls on stakeholders to continue investing in menstrual health initiatives that promote dignity, inclusion, and equal opportunities for all.
